What is an easy grader?

An easy grader is a classroom tool that converts total questions and wrong answers into the number correct, percentage score, and letter grade. It also creates a grading chart for every possible raw score, which helps teachers grade quizzes, tests, and exams without calculating each answer sheet separately.

Question-based grades vs. point-based grades

For equal-value questions, enter the number of questions as the total and count the answers missed. For essays, projects, labs, and rubric-based assignments, enter total possible points and points missed instead. The percentage formula is the same, but point-based grading supports partial credit.

25-question quiz25 questionsQuestions missed
40-point project40 pointsPoints deducted
20-point rubric20 pointsWhole or fractional points lost

Use the result with the correct policy

The calculator provides the arithmetic, while the syllabus or school policy determines the official result. Confirm the assigned A–F grading scale, decimal precision, rounding method, late penalties, extra credit, and whether scores above 100% are capped.
